Spark's Standing Save the Date

Since we opened the Loft at Spark last Fall, we've been working one-on-one with clients locally. It is fun to work with clients in person and help them create stationery that reflects their design-style and meets their budget. We offer our local clients custom designs that may be printed letterpress (of course), foil-stamped or digital. We also provide a variety of custom finishing options as well as envelope addressing.

This save the date is digitally-printed on Stardream opal 105# cover. It is sized to fit into an A2 envelope. For our letterpress fans out there, this design can easily be translated to letterpress.

Calling All Atlanta Brides!

One of our Atlanta retailers, Luxe Expressions, is offering a complimentary letterpress wedding suite as part of the CBS Atlanta wedding giveaway. Spark will, of course, be letterpress-printing the wedding set for the lucky couple later this Fall. Check out the CBS Atlanta website for details and registration!

Japanese Floral Wedding Set

We printed this wedding suite for Michael C. Fina, New York City. This invitation set is printed on Crane Lettra 110# cover in pearl white. The invitation panel has a blind deboss and rich navy ink. On the back of the panel, we adhered a Japanese paper backer. The circle menu is also another focal point to the set as it is a 6.75" circle and fits nicely into the charger.

Please contact us or any of our retailers for more information about this beautiful set.

Contemporary Wedding Set

We try hard to produce wedding designs for every bride. Check out this invitation set we produced for Pulp & Ink, Chicago, back in the day. This contemporary set is understated and youthful in celadon and charcoal inks. Printed on Crane Lettra 110# cover in fluorescent white. Included in this set is the save the date, invite panel, reply set, directions card, belly band and outer envelope. The insert cards tuck in behind to make a tidy little package!

Wedding Stationery: Deckle Edges and Sewing

We designed this invitation set for Epitome Papers, located in The Galleria, Edina, Minnesota.

This invitation design is clean and understated, the monogram for the couple takes center stage. Printed on Crane Lettra 220# pearl white cover (Invite Panel) and 110# cover (all other pieces) in rust orange and brown inks.

Notice the invitation panel has one deckle edge at the top. We consider this a torn edge, not a true deckle edge. Since the 220# cover is a duplexed cover (glue is involved), the torn edge takes on a different appearance.

The insert card set is hand-sewn together in an orange thread that is a perfect match to the ink color used on the invitation set. This is a nice, yet subtle, way to add color to the reply cards that are printed in only brown ink. The reply card is able to perforate off from the set and mailed as a postcard.

Eco Scottish Wedding

This invitation set was designed by Flush Designs in Pasadena, California.

Paper: This is a completely eco-friendly invitation set as it is printed on 100% reclaimed cotton paper (tree-free), our premium, 220# house stock. The envelopes are brown bag envelopes made from 100% recycled content.

Details: We printed the invite panel in lavender and brown inks on the front and brown ink on the back. Since we were using the 220# cover, we could give a nice impression on both sides. The custom artwork created by Courtney at Flush Designs looked beautiful letterpress-printed.

We also sewed borders around all four sides of this invitation in a pretty lavender thread. Unfortunately, none of our samples remain to share with you! There is proof, checkout Courtney's website at Flush Designs and view #19 under her invitation photos.

Vintage New York Wedding

We designed this wedding invitation set for our retailer, The Wedding Library, located in New York City. We highly recommend visiting with Linda Hays, Director of Stationery, at the Wedding Library as she loves custom projects like this one.

Invitation Details. The set was printed on Crane Lettra 220# pearl white cover. The envelopes are also Crane Lettra pearl white pointed flaps. All pieces are printed in two colors, nutmeg brown and a rich navy. Unique features about this invitation set are the double-sided invitation panel and the letterpress envelope liner. Each piece stands on its own, making the set truly special.
